Double star confirmation for SAO188452 - Not confirmed.

Kazuhisa Miyashita (JCLO)

SAO188452(=XZ27408) is double star registered in XZ double star file. A lunar occultation event(reappearance) of this star was observed by M.Ishida in Nov.4. Ishida-san kindly sent me an .avi file records this event. I analyzed the tape with Limovie. However any characteristic of double star was not detected in that video. The estimation of event time from position angle of component and lunar limb indicates that the fainter component appeared earlier than main star. It is inferred that the luminous dropping by the disappearance of fainter component, is smaller than change of light intensity scattered by air scintillation.

It is analyzed by using "moving average of near (within 5 radius) pixels" filtre.
